This Privacy Policy describes how EasySoft SPA ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the City Limits Shopify application.

1. Information We Collect

When you install City Limits, we access the following data through Shopify's API:

• Store information: shop domain, name, and email to authenticate and operate the app.
• App configuration: the list of allowed cities you configure is stored as a metafield in your Shopify store — not in our servers.
• Session data: a minimal session token stored in our database to keep you authenticated while using the app.

We do not collect, store, or process personal data from your customers (names, emails, addresses, payment information, etc.).

2. How We Use Information

• To authenticate your store and provide access to the app.
• To read and write the city configuration on your Shopify store.
• To activate and manage the checkout validation rule on your store.

3. Data Storage

Session tokens are stored on a secure server hosted in a private VPS. City configuration data is stored directly in your Shopify store via metafields and is governed by Shopify's own privacy policies.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. We do not use your store data for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. GDPR Compliance

We comply with Shopify's GDPR requirements. Upon receiving a data request or deletion request through Shopify's mandatory webhooks, we process these requests promptly. Since we hold no personal customer data, deletion requests are fulfilled by removing the associated session data.

6. Data Retention

Session data is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app. City configuration data remains in your Shopify store as metafields and can be deleted by you at any time.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption for all communications and secure storage for session tokens.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
